What to do in the event of transport damage?

All items are checked and carefully packed by our shipping staff. However, if an item arrives damaged, please have the parcel carrier issue a damage report. Concealed transport damage must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt of the goods. Transport damage reported later will not be recognised by the transport company. Please check the goods immediately upon receipt. If damage has occurred, please inform us immediately of the damage by e-mail, telephone or fax.

In the event of externally recognisable damage to the consignment, you should check the contents immediately in the presence of the deliverer to ensure that they are complete and, as far as possible, in perfect condition. In any case, have a damage report recorded immediately.

With your signature, you confirm not only the acceptance of the goods, but also the proper external condition of the shipping packaging without any recognisable defects. In this case, claims for damages arising from transport damage are excluded if you do not immediately check the goods in the presence of the deliverer and, if necessary, record any damage in a damage report to be issued by the deliverer or refuse to accept the consignment due to damage.

Please describe the damage that has occurred as precisely as possible and be sure to keep the goods including the outer packaging and original carton for the purpose of checking the transport damage. We will then contact you immediately and, if necessary, arrange for the return of the damaged goods.

Please note: A reservation regarding later complaints with regard to transport damage or completeness in the case of externally damaged consignments has no legal significance.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As long as your order has not yet been processed, we will gladly try to consider your subsequent change or cancellation requests. As soon as the package is being processed for dispatch, changes or cancellations are unfortunately no longer possible.

Please note that this may also be the case shortly after receipt of your order.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Freight forwarding goods are delivered free kerbside. Please ensure that you can transport your ordered goods safely to their place of use.

Pick-ups of freight forwarding goods are also free kerbside. As the customer, you are responsible for ensuring that the goods are securely packed for transport.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the event of increased shipping volumes, there may be delays in the delivery process by the shipping company or partial deliveries. If your consignment is not delivered within the standard delivery time or initially as a partial delivery, we ask for your understanding and apologise for this.

Please do not agree any assembly dates in advance, as we do not specify fixed dates, transport damage cannot be ruled out and we do not bear the costs for assembly failures.
